Diamondbacks game!

We love baseball!! Chris's family goes all the time to the games, especially opening day. This year we haven't really gone too much, silly life. :) anyway we were able to go this past weekend and we had a blast! We didn't win, but I mean really...who actually watches the game? ;) 

I love us. And I know I have said the before, but I really do. We are a fun couple of peeps. Lol

Ok, ok, I will stop making myself feel better. Ha! 

This is the main reason why we all went to the game.  We wanted this little guy. Isn't he cute?

Quick trip to Taylor,AZ

Last night I was able to take a quick trip to Taylor. My in laws live there and Chris's grandparents. Well gma had some old barn wood she was willing to give me so I was all about going up to get it! Even if it meant just me, for maybe 12 hours. Definitely a turn around trip. But SO worth it! Just to see rain, cooler temps and my in laws, of course. :) 

I mean really?! How beautiful is this!! I love this drive. It's so peaceful and I never turned the radio on. Windows down. My time. 

So my reason was for te barn wood for my little etsy business. But I mean look at how much I got...

And this isn't even half of it. Hopefully the other half I can bring down the end of the month. :) oh all the projects that are storing around in my head!!! 

So ready to go back and enjoy more then just a few hours. The family reunion at the end of the month can't be here soon enough. :)

A random day in Tucson

I love my family. So much. I love getting to spend even a short hour with them. And today I was lucky just to do that. I was able to see my niece Melanie while my friend and Alissa met for some personal training. 

She's so grown up!! We watched Frozen, had snacks and just spent some much needed auntie and Mel time.

Preparations for Christmas in July

So come July 19th I will be doing my first craft fair/vendor fair. I am so nervous and excited all the same! I have been cutting, sanding, painting and designing boards for the past 2 weeks now.

Basically my 'hot' look this week. Hehe the hubby doesn't mind.

Arizona Monsoon

Chris and I are just hanging out downstairs and all of a sudden the lights go out. I was like what in the world. Then they came back on. So I go upstairs to see if it's storming and it wasn't. So I go back down and don't think anything of it. Then the lights go out again and come back on. I was starting to get a little nervous. So we both go upstairs and we didn't see anything. Then I look out the front of the house and this is what I saw...

No JOKE! I was like oh, well that makes sense. We we watched a little while. It was coming in so fast .

We head back downstairs and continue doing our thing. Then I hear a little rain and go upstairs and my jaw dropped. It was pitch black outside. Like no sight of outside at all. I call for Chris to come up and he was just as shocked as I was. 

It's hard to make out but you can see am outline of the porch light and some of the house. I was in a little panic mode for a little bit. I will be the first to admit, I am a huge chicken when it comes to storms. Especially big ones like this. 

I love AZ summers.

Date night!

We love date night. Especially when we go with my best friend Janessa and her hubby, Tad. We went to Umami. A delicious ramen place that is so fun. We met the owner/chef tonight and he's the coolest guy. Turns out Tad and Jared were in Iraq together years ago. We love trying new places and supporting local businesses. 

Ps. I love my hubby's ginger beard ;)

Just the two of us

So here is us. I love us. This is my handsomely adorable hubby, Chris. He is my rock. From the first moment we met I knew he was an awesome man. Did I know we would be together, no. It took me a little longer to figure that one out. :) 

Chris is currently working on starting the Nursing program in January at Central Arizona College, CAC. He's such a good student. He works at Home Depot full time and is so excited to start the nursing program! 

A little about me, I am a salon owner and full time stylist. I have a decor business and also have a smaller business with it works! too. Let's just say I can't just sit still. Always doing something. :) 

I love our little life. We live in my hometown, Casa Grande, AZ. I love it. I am looking forward to the day we move to the valley but I'm enjoying it while I can. 

We have been married for a little over 2 years and I can't tell you how much more I love it then day one! We have had such an adventure and just always look for more. 

So this is us! I wanted to start this so I can have a place for me to basically journal our life. Hope you enjoy!
